Convert PDF to tables

I recently needed to convert PDF documents which contains tables. From what I could find, there are only two good solutions out there.

  • https://pdftables.com - A web app that could convert a PDF document to CSV file. Simply upload the file and wait for it do its magic. However, this is no longer free for everyone to use. After the free trial ends, a fee is needed to keep using its service.
  • http://tabula.technology - Tabula is a software which are available on Windows and Mac, it opens as a web application on your browser. The automatic mode is not as accurate as pdftables.com web app, but using manual selection.
